Theresa D. Gagnon

"Chicopee – Theresa D. (Thibeault) Gagnon, 82 of Felix St., passed away August 10, 2010 at Redstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 14, 1928 in Chicopee, she was daughter to the late Armand and Rose (Marion) Thibeault. She lived in the Willimansett section of Chicopee for over 35 years where she raised 4 children, was a Den Mother, a hairdresser and a member of the Nativity Parish Choir. She was also a former member of the Moose Lodge 1849 Choral Group in Chicopee. In 1985, she moved to Pine Valley Plantation in Belchertown with her husband Laval. Both were active communicants and members of the choir of St. Francis Parish. For the past 4 years, Theresa and her husband have resided in the Aldenville section of Chicopee and were communicants of St. Rose de Lima Parish. Besides her husband, Theresa will be greatly missed by her children, Denis and his wife Nancy of Wilbraham, Steven of Chicopee and Marie Gower of Aldenville along with 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Robert in 2006. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church.
