Theresa L. Gelineau

Belchertown - Theresa L. (Cyr) Gelineau, 85, passed away on October 15, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center. She was born September 30, 1938, in Concord, VT to William E. and Juliette F. (Moran) Cyr. Theresa was raised in Holyoke and as a child spent many summers with her beloved grandmother at the family farm in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She has lived in Belchertown since 1960. As a youngster, Theresa was a talented tap dancer. As an adult she loved crafting, traveling and spending summers camping. She was a fabulous cook. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 64 years, David Gelineau of Belchertown, daughter Ann Marie Pittsley (Tom) of Hadley, son David Gelineau, II (Tobie) of Nevada. She also leaves a sister, Carol Russell of Granby, the mother of David's children, Maria Gutierrez and 3 grandchildren, Bettina, Aaron (Brittany) and Rebecca, and her fur-baby Mr. Fluff the cat. Calling hours will be held at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, on October 30, 2023, from 10:00AM - 11:00AM followed by a service at 11:00. The burial will be at South Cemetery.
