Theresa H. Stewart

"Springfield - Theresa H. Stewart, 85, passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2015. Born March 15, 1930 and raised in Aldenville (Chicopee), she was the daughter of Alfred and Caroline (LeFleur) Granger. Theresa has lived in Springfield and also was a longtime resident of Brimfield as well as surrounding towns. She retired from Monson Developmental Center, where she was supervisor for many years. Previously she worked at the former General Offset Printing in Springfield. Theresa enjoyed cards, going to bingo and most especially spending time with her children. In 1997, Theresa was predeceased by her husband Herbert C. Stewart. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sonny Stewart of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Linda Davis of Brimfield, Joan Stewart of Belchertown, Ronald Stewart of Stafford Springs, CT, and Elaine Stewart, with whom she lived. Theresa also leaves her two sisters, Leona Troie of Chicopee and Rita Laravee of NH, daughter -in law, Maria Stewart of Ware, two son-in-laws, Dave and Karl, along with five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In 2013, Theresa's son, David Stewart of Ware passed away. Services will be privately held and Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
