Thomas Leo Santucci

"Ludlow - Thomas L. Santucci, Sr., 89, passed away on February 4, 2019. Born November 23, 1929 in Ludlow, MA, son of Leopold and Mildred (Vermette) Santucci. He was raised in Palmer and lived in Ludlow for over 60 years. Tom proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Thomas retired in 1986 from Western Mass. Electric where he worked as a Senior Network Inspector for 32 years. He was a former member of the Palmer Knights of Columbus and the Wilbraham American Legion. He is survived by six children, Thomas L. Santucci, Jr. (Sarah), Jean M. Garnette, Mark Santucci (Pamela), Scott Santucci (Cindy), Annmarie Santos (Richard) and Paul Santucci (Wendy). He also leaves a sisters, Joan Santucci, 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by brothers, Alfred and Robert Santucci, sisters, Janet Levesque and Leona Brown. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb 8th from 9:30-11:30 a.m at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be private in the spring in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to D'Amour Center for Cancer Care.
