Vida Evelyn Trusz

"Ludlow - Vida Evelyn (Sanford) Trusz, 91, died on August 25, 2014 with her family by her side. Born July 22, 1923 in Rockdale, TX, she was the daughter of Laurence and Cleora (Franklin) Sanford. Vida lived for many years in Texas before moving to Ludlow where she resided till her death. A proud Veteran, she served her country during WWII as a nurse in the US Navy. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Stephen Trusz and partner Sharon Larson of Palm City, FL, and George Trusz and wife Judy of Belchertown, and daughters, Jana Trusz and spouse Laura Davis of Canton, Elizabeth Courtney and husband Dan of Ludlow, and Stephanie Trusz and her partner Len Bowyer of Ludlow, and June Sousa and partner Horacio Santos, along with grandchildren Evan, Alexandra, George, Jr., Zoe, Lydia, Elvis, Aja, Ari and great grandchildren Ava, Micheal and Olivia. She also leaves extended family in Texas. Besides her parents, Vida was preceded in death by her husband, John and her siblings, Franklin, Steve, Laurence and Arthur.
