Wesley William Korenewsky

Belchertown, MA – Wesley Korenewsky, 68, sadly passed away in a housefire on July 10, 2023. Wesley was born in Hadley, MA to Wassily and Erna Korenewsky on September 11, 1954. He attended the Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton, where he studied to be an electrician. Wesley would go on to work as a logger across New England and later as a farmhand in Hadley, MA. He had a true passion for nature and the great outdoors, sharing his appreciation of forestry and woodworking with so many others. Wesley leaves behind his wife Denise Korenewsky; his sons Aaron (Aylin) and Matthew Korenewsky; his brother Fred (Sue) Korenewsky; sister Olga Gustin (the late Marvel Gustin); sister Dora (Charlie) Tudryn; brother Peter (Pam) Korenewsky; brother Andy Korenewsky; brother Joseph Korenewsky; and many nieces and nephews. Wesley’s loved ones are still coming to terms with his sudden passing. He will be deeply missed. The service will be private. Wesley’s sons ask that donations in his memory be made to either St. Jude or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
