Jacqueline B. Carlson
Feb 11, 1937 — Oct 5, 2026
Palmer-Jacqueline (Bouchie) Carlson, 89, a cherished and lifelong resident of Palmer, MA, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, at her home with the love of her family surrounding her. Born on February 11, 1937, in Ware, MA, Jackie lived a life rich with simple pleasures and meaningful connections.
She is remembered as a dedicated dental receptionist for many years, having worked for both Dr. William Riley and upon his retirement Dr. Jonathan Neumann. Her career was marked by her warm presence and commitment to her work. Prior to that she spent many years as one of the first teacher's aides at Thorndike Street School, where she left a lasting impact on both students and those she worked with.
Travel was a passion she shared with her late husband, Kenny, as they explored new places together. Jackie had a special fondness for their home in Dennis on Cape Cod, where she found joy in its serene beauty. Her heart was truly with her family, and she treasured the time she spent with them, especially her beloved grandchildren and great granddaughters.
Jackie’s legacy is carried forward by her family, her daughter, Cheryl and her husband Alan Roy of Palmer, her son, David and his wife, Pamela Carlson of Monson along with grandchildren Nicole Tavernier and her husband, Timothy as well as Jeffery Carlson and his husband Jordan Strader. Her love continued with the next generation of her two great granddaughters, Eloise and Caroline. Jackie was predeceased in 2009 by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth J. Carlson, as well as her sister, Constance Gopfert.
Her life was a testament to the importance of family and the fulfillment found in everyday joys.
