Joan F. Boulette

Joan Frances Boulette, a beloved resident of Monson and Sturbridge, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on January 25, 1938, in Worcester, Joan devoted her life to her home and family, creating a loving and welcoming environment for all.

Joan shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, George Boulette, Jr. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her. She also found comfort and companionship in her cherished dog, Boom Boom.

She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Ernest Johnson, Ingrid Valley, and Donald Johnson; her grandson, Michael Dembkowski; and her son-in-law, Michael Beaucage.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Bonnie Boulette-Andersen and her husband Allen, Laurie Boulette and her wife Mary, and Sherry Boulette, and her best friend Karla Croft Harder. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a treasured great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Each of them held a special place in her heart.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.

Joan will be remembered for her deep love of family and her legacy continues to live on in all who knew her.
