Judith “Judy” Anne Stacy, 71, of Monson, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026. Born on July 6, 1954, in Stafford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Clifford E. Stacy and Margaret (Nothe) Stacy.

Judy was a proud graduate of Monson High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree, dedicating her life to a meaningful and compassionate career as a registered nurse. She worked for many years at Baystate Medical Center, where she served as a respected head nurse in the operating room.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her nephews, James Stacy, and Matthew Bratianu.

Judy is lovingly remembered by her longtime partner, Joseph Rourke; her sister, Donna Bratianu; her brothers, Clifford Stacy (JoAnne), Jimmy Stacy (Rose), and Eddie Stacy (Janet); her stepchildren, Maria Rourke and Matthew Rourke (Heather); her granddaughter, Chloe Bier (Christian); her nieces and nephews, Scott, JoAnne, Ryan, and Samantha; and her great-nieces and great-nephew, Margaret, Ryan and Belle.

Judy had a vibrant personality and a warm, welcoming spirit. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and NASCAR, and loved traveling with her partner Joe. She was very social, kind-hearted, and had a special ability to get along with everyone she met. Above all, she deeply adored her family and cherished the time she spent with them.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, with a funeral home service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers can be made to the Dementia Society of America or to the Rays of Hope at baystatehealth.org.
