June E. Henrich

Jul 10, 1929 — Jul 28, 2026

Hollis, NH- June E. Henrich, formerly of Palmer, MA, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born in Three Rivers in 1929, she was the daughter of George L. Rogers, who served 55 years in the Three Rivers Fire Department and 41 years as Fire Chief, and Blanche (Chevalier) Rogers.

June grew up in a large family with seven brothers, George, Clarence (“Buck”), Leroy, Ronnie, Richard, Ralph and Paul and two sisters, Ruth and Elva, all of whom predeceased her. She became the beloved matriarch of a large and ever-growing family of cousins, near and far. She embraced that role with love and grace, earning the admiration, respect, and affection of all who were blessed to call her family.

June married William A. Henrich, Jr. of Palmer, and they made their home on Cyd Alan Street where they raised eight children: Catherine, Jo-Anne, Jacalyn, Mark, Stephen, Beverly, Lisa, and Jill. She was later predeceased by her husband and two of her children, Mark and Lisa. Her home was a gathering place for family, especially on Sundays, where conversation, card games, and laughter filled the rooms. Each fall, she cooked a large pot of her well-loved spaghetti sauce for those who helped clear leaves from the property — a tradition that blended family, work, and warmth. She worked at the Third National Bank during her early years and later volunteered at the Gift Shop of the Wing Hospital, the Lions Club, and with her local hospice where her dedication to service touched many lives in the Palmer community.

For the past eleven years, June lived in Hollis with her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Liz Henrich, becoming part of their everyday life and adventures. She loved attending baseball games with them, traveling to Maine for fried clams, and touring the White Mountains each fall to admire the foliage. She was an avid gardener and loved puzzles and cross stitch. June created a special cross-stitched Christmas stocking for each of her 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. June will be remembered for her beautiful smile, quiet strength, devotion to family and friends, as well as the welcoming home she offered to all who entered.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 10am-12pm with a service to begin at 12pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
