Nancy Theriault

Nancy (Emerson) Theriault, 77, of Brimfield, Massachusetts passed away September 23, 2021 at her home. She was born on December 9, 1943 in Burlington, Vermont to Lee and Dorkas (Ball) Emerson. She was raised in Vermont and worked as an elementary teacher at Orleans Elementary School in VT. Nancy later moved to Ludlow and Monson MA before relocating to Brimfield, MA where she lived for over 20 years. She retired from Monson Developmental Center where she worked as a developmental specialist for many years. Nancy was a member of New Birth Christian Church in Thorndike and previously attended Crossway Church in Palmer. She loved children and taught them Sunday School for the churches for years. Nancy will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her kind heartedness. She is survived by three daughters, Kelley Soland (Terry) of Augusta Wisconsin, Tracey Stankus (Joseph) of Holden MA and Julie Hutchinson of Eustis, FL. She also leaves 7 grandchildren Raymond W Perry, Sonya J Hestekin, Randy W Allen, Carissa K Bautz, Bailey A Franson, Mark A Perry Jr., Jessica L Hutchinson , and 10 great grandchildren Cole Warner, Norah Warner, Nicholas Perry, Colby Melton, Shelby Melton, Mark Perry the third, and Caylee Perry, Jamison Franson, Briar Franson, and one on the way Lylah June. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Theriault and her sister, Cynthia Washer. The family will receive friends at Beers & Story Funeral Palmer Funeral Home on September 29, 2021 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM a Memorial Service will follow at at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to New Birth Christian Church 4025 Church St., Thorndike, MA 01069.
