Reinette E. Barton

Monson-Reinette E. (Levesque) Barton, 86, passed away May 10, 2021. Born in Biddeford, Maine on July 10, 1934, she was the only daughter of Aimee and Lillian (Mayotte) Levesque. Reinette grew up in MA and raised her family here. She has lived with her daughter in Monson since (2011). In her leisure, Reinette enjoyed knitting, playing Club pogo on the computer and was previously a part of bowling leagues in both Spencer and E.Brookfield.. During her working career, Reinette was employed at both nursing homes and hospitals, where she worked and cared for patients as a LPN. She will be dearly missed by her children, Joseph LaFlower and wife Sheila of Warren, Aimee D. LaFlower of Spencer, Daniel LaFlower and wife Cindy of GA, Sandra Seawright of Springfield, Barry LaFlower and wife Linda of W.VA, and Karen and wife Yvette Rioux of Monson. She also leaves behind many grand and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1st from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, June 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Monson with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in E.Brookfield. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the church Wednesday morning. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
