Apr 21, 1943 — Feb 9, 2025

Robert P. Cole, born on April 21, 1943, in Palmer, MA, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Webster, MA. Robert's life was a testament to dedication, both to his country and his family. He served honorably as a Master Sergeant in the National Guard, primarily stationed in Ware, with a brief tenure in Worcester. Robert was the cherished son of Edmund and Florida Cole, and the beloved brother of Richard Cole, Roger Cole, Shirley Morton and her husband Chick, all of whom preceded him in death. He is lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law, Patricia Cole, as well as his nephew, Robert Morton, and nieces Judy Shields and her husband David, Sherrie Dillon, Laurie Manning and her husband Bill and Lynn Cole. He is also fondly remembered by his three great nieces Kaylee, Arielle and Anjelina. To those who knew him, Uncle Bob was truly a rock for his family; he was the steadfast presence one could always depend upon. Known for his remarkable memory, Robert could recall any and all significant dates of his loved ones, a testament to his deep care and love for his family. His devotion extended beyond the walls of his home into his community, where he regularly attended church functions at the former St. Anne's Church and Sts. Peter & Paul Church. Robert possessed a profound commitment to helping others, always ready to take on any odd job or provide assistance to family and friends. His dedication and selflessness left a lasting impact on those around him, and his legacy as a supportive pillar will not be forgotten. Family and friends are invited to honor Robert’s memory on Saturday, April 26, with a visitation at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a service and burial at St. Anne's Cemetery.
