Stella H. (Holda) Zerdecki
Sep 23, 1934 — Jul 1, 2026
Stella H. (Holda) Zerdecki, 91, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026 at her home with the love of her family surrounding her. Born on September 23, 1934, in Monson, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Kapoka) Holda.
Stella was raised in Monson and then made her home in Three Rivers for the past 68 years. For many years, she worked as the cafeteria manager at Old Mill Pond School. Stella found joy in life's simple pleasures like reading books on her porch, spending time at Pulaski Park, polka dancing, boating with her family and people watching. One of her greatest joys was waving to her great-grandchildren as they passed by on their school bus each day.
In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Zerdecki; her siblings, Mitchell Holda, Walter Holda, Mary Moriarty, Chester Holda, and Edward Holda; and her cherished cat, Tippy.
She leaves behind her four loving daughters: Debra Geoffrion; Susan Mitchell and her husband, Robert; Cynthia Zerdecki and her partner, Rich Comptois; and Lynn Corsetti and her husband, Robert. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, Stephanie, Emily, Jennifer, Rebecca, Rachel, Victoria, and Matthew, who lovingly called her Baboo; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Elias and Asher, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish. Burial will follow at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
