Theodore A. Gagnon

Theodore A. “Ted” Gagnon, 89, passed away on September 23, 2026. He was born in Spencer, Massachusetts, on November 11, 1936, to the late Armand and Marie (Lacasse) Gagnon.

Shortly after graduating from high school, Ted honorably served in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he began a long and dedicated career in the telecommunications industry, working for Bell Telephone, New England Telephone, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies, from which he eventually retired.

Ted married his beloved wife, Evelyn (Misiaszek) Gagnon, and together they shared 50 years of marriage. They made their home in West Warren, where they raised their family and created many cherished memories.

Ted was a talented and creative man who enjoyed building model remote-control airplanes and taking them out to fly. He also had a passion for creating model trains, putting his time and creativity into building them.

Ted was predeceased by his parents, Armand and Marie Gagnon, and his brother, Norbert Gagnon.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Evelyn Gagnon; his children, Mary Harder and her partner Ed O’Donnell, Michael Gagnon and his wife Trish, and Christopher Gagnon and his wife Deb; his stepsons, Edward Kosmider and his wife Sandra, and Daniel Kosmider; his grandchildren, Lindsey Robillard and her husband Michael, Wyatt Gagnon, Emerson Gagnon, and Dillon Herrin; his step-grandchildren, Joseph Gratton and his wife Shannon, and Randy Gratton and his wife Taylor; as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
