Wendy Lee Raymond

Wendy Lee (Stockwell) Raymond, 74, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026.

Born on July 21, 1952, in Palmer, MA, she was a lifelong resident of the town. Wendy was the daughter of the late Earl and Barbara (Lloyd) Stockwell. She worked for many years as a receptionist at Dr. Richard Gondek's dental office, where she formed special bonds with Dr. Richard and his wife, Barbara Gondek, who became like family to her. She created lasting connections and always had a bright smile that greeted the hundreds of patients that were welcomed by her.

Wendy found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, loved flowers, and bird watching. She especially loved vacationing at “her place” in Point Judith, Rhode Island, where she could watch surfers and fishermen and listen to the soothing sound of the waves. These visits held a special place in her heart. A true homebody, Wendy cherished the comfort of home and had a special fondness for her cat, Garfield.

Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Barbara (Lloyd) Stockwell.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years, Alan Raymond; her daughter, Lindsay Dod, and her husband, Daniel; her son, Brett Raymond, and his wife, Carrie; and her cherished grandchildren, William and Jacob Raymond, and Aubrey and Mason Dod. She also leaves behind Barbara and Richard Gondek, who held a special place in her life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
