Anne M. Cloutier

Greenfield -Anne M. (Morrissey) Cloutier, 75, passed away December 17, 2022 at Charlene Manor in Greenfield, MA. She was born on March 8, 1947 in Springfield, MA to Everett and Marion (Turner) Morrissey. Anne was raised in Springfield and had lived in Westhampton, MA for 40 years. She graduated from Cathedral High School and went on to earn her nursing degree so she could help those in need. She worked tirelessly as an LPN for many years at Providence Place Hospital and retired from the Holyoke VNA & Hospice where she cared for so many in their final days. Anne loved her family and cherished time spent with her grandson, Jacob and sister Kathy. She enjoyed cooking - beef stew was her specialty- and spending time at the beach. She was known to stay in touch with family and friends near and far through cards and handwritten notes. As a season ticket holder to the Majestic Theater, Anne fueled her love for the theater where she enjoyed so many musicals with her husband. Anne had a generous heart and contributed to many charities, especially to Shriners' Children's Hospital. Anne was predeceased by her husband Bernard L. Cloutier in 2021, her daughter, Kishori in 1985 and siblings Marion Richards and Robert Morrissey. She will be deeply missed by her son, Jason and his wife Michelle, and her beloved grandson, Jacob Cloutier of Cumberland, RI; as well as her sister Kathy Walsh and her partner David Blackburn of Largo, FL. Visitation will be Wed., Dec. 28, 2022 at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home from 11:00am-12:00 pm with a funeral home service beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shiners Hospital for Children.
