Harold J. Renner

South Hadley - Harold J. Renner, 97, received his Crown of Glory on June 12, 2023. He was born on November 18, 1925, in Chicopee, son of Daniel and Bertha (Gerhardt) Renner. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. Upon discharge he was employed by the Willow Theatre as Manager. From 1956 until his retirement in 1989 he held many positions in the Sales Department of American Writing Paper Corp. (later Brown Co., and Linweave, Inc.) including Sales Manager of Board and Converting Papers. A lifelong member of First Lutheran Church in Holyoke, he held positions of Chairman of Stewardship, Treasurer and Chairman of Elders. He leaves his son, Mark Renner of S. Hadley and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothea (Huller) and his siblings, Frieda Heinemann, Elsie Clarkson, Carl and Walter Renner. A Memorial Service will be held on Fri., June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Easthampton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
