Ina Y. Klimczuk

Holyoke- Ina Y. Klimczuk, 73, passed away on June 7, 2026. Born on July 11, 1952, in Holyoke, she was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Jadwiga (Jaskiewicz) Klimczuk.
Ina received her early education at Mater Dolorosa and was a proud graduate of Holyoke High School. She continued her studies at Holyoke Community College, earning her associate’s degree, and went on to graduate from Mount Holyoke College with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts.
Ina dedicated over 40 years as an Accounting Manager at the J. Polep Distribution Center in Chicopee. Outside of her career, Ina expressed her creativity in many ways. She had a passion for decorating, cooking, and gardening, and took great pride in making her surroundings warm and welcoming. She was an avid dog lover, especially fond of Golden Retrievers, and cherished her daily trips with her dog to Dunkin for a latte and Munchkins. Ina also looked forward to her annual trips to the Maine coast, where she found peace and joy by the ocean.
Ina enjoyed quiet moments spent reading and listening to music, but her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family. She especially treasured holidays, bringing loved ones together and creating lasting memories filled with warmth and laughter.
Besides her parents, Ina was predeceased by her sister, Roma in 2003, and her beloved dogs, Maggie, Nula and Piper. She is survived by her sister, Lydia Klimczuk; cousin, Ewa Pierzchalski and her husband, Grzegorz, and their children, Michael and Tamara; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 11:30am-12:30pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:30pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in South Cemetery in Belchertown. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ina can be made to the Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, 110 Chapin Rd. Hudson, MA 01749; Dakin Humane Society, PO BOX 6307 Springfield, MA 01101; or to the Foundation for TJO Animals, 66 Industry Ave. Springfield, MA 01104.
Ina leaves behind a legacy of devotion, warmth, and cherished moments that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
