John Watson Hardaker Jr

John Watson Hardaker Jr. “Johnny” as everyone knew him, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born in Holyoke on August 8, 1947, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Buchanan)Hardaker. Johnny worked for Goodwill industries for 45 years. He was a brother to Robert Hardaker, Pamela Morrione and Debra Dubin as well as her spouse Paul. John also left behind 4 nieces; Chelsea Ritcey, Hailey Zawrotny , Angela Snow and Gina Willette. A special thank you to Atherton house of Western Mass Training Consortium and Holyoke VNA hospice for the excellent care John received. John’s life will be celebrated Monday, June 22 at Beers and Story, South Hadley. Funeral at 11 AM with burial to follow at Forestdale cemetery. Please gather at the funeral home at 10:30 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be sent to the Western Mass Training Consortium.
