Joyce A. Mastorakis

Granby- Joyce A. (Sargent) Mastorakis, 87, passed away November 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 27, 1935 in Pittsfield to the late Robert J. and Charlotte (Mead) Sargent. Joyce was an avid reader and a life-long fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Above all else, family was the most important thing in Joyce's life and she cherished every moment spent with them. Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Mastorakis Sr.; son, Richard J. Mastorakis; sisters, Flora Casey and Roberta Ochs; brother, Robert J. Sargent; daughter-in-law, Amy M. Levitin; and her grandson, Jacob Marcus Mastorakis. She will be forever missed by her children, George J. Mastorakis Jr., Ronald J. Mastorakis and wife Judy, Joyce A. (Mastorakis) Sheehan and husband Robert, Robin A. (Mastorakis) Redmond and husband Richard, and Robert J. Mastorakis. She also leaves her grandchildren, Ronald Mastorakis Jr. and wife Tracie, Seth C. Mastorakis, Matthew A. Howe and wife Michelle, Michael P. Sheehan and wife Sarita, Christina A. (Sheehan) Velez and husband Ricardo, and Jeremy Redmond; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Austin and Sophia Mastorakis, Matthew Jr., Michaela, Nathaniel, KevinJames, and Molly Jo Howe, Makenzie Mastorakis, Ethan and Keira Sheehan, Skyla Velez, Cody Salyers, and Aiden and Olyvia Redmond; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27th from 1-5pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the following morning in the funeral home at 10am. Burial will immediately follow in West Cemetery in Granby.
