Mark was raised in Springfield, and a proud graduate of Cathedral High School, he pursued higher education, earning an Associate degree in Management from STCC and a BSBA in Finance and an MBA in Accounting from Western New England College. These achievements laid the groundwork for his distinguished career.
A significant chapter of his professional life, Mark devoted 14 years to Suddekor LLC in Agawam, MA where he served as Vice President of Finance and Administration until his retirement in 2020.
For 26 years, Mark made his home in Granby, MA, building a warm and loving household with his wife, Darlene (Rys) Charest, and their daughters, Ciara and Lea, as well as Willow the family cat. His family was the cornerstone of his existence, a source of immense joy and pride. Time spent together, especially on family vacations, were cherished moments that he held close to his heart.
Outside of his professional and family life, Mark was an avid sports enthusiast, passionately supporting the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. He had a love for basketball and enjoyed playing golf. Mark found relaxation and happiness in his pool and hot tub, savoring quieter moments that allowed him to unwind.
