Travis James Hart

Travis James Hart died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at home. He was born on May 18, 1984 in Holyoke MA, the son of Teresa M. Hart (Pushee’) and James K. Hart. Travis beat Hodgkin’s lymphoma as a child. He attended Agawam schools and graduated from Agawam High School in 2002. Travis went on to graduate from UMass Amherst in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He worked as a supervisor for many years for UMass dining services. He loved photography and playing his guitars. He adored his nieces and the time they spent together. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his gentle soul, and his contagious laugh. Travis is survived by his beloved nieces Fallon and Matilda Mooney, of Granby; his loving mother, Teresa Hart and step father Robert Harvey of Granby, his brother John Hart of Springfield, brother Dustin Hart of South Hadley, sister Marybeth Hart and her Fiancé Hayes Mooney of Granby. Predeceased by his father James Hart. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
