Gregory Andrew Goldman
Jan 28, 1985 — Sep 26, 2026
Gregory Goldman was born at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula on January 28, 1985 to Michael and Judith Goldman. He lived his entire life on Asilomar in Pacific Grove close to the beautiful ocean, many tall pine trees, and the fog.
He graduated from Pacific Grove High School June 2003 in the top ten of his graduating class. Gregory was extremely smart with a delightfully wicked sense of humor. He could always make you laugh with quick one liners and great comebacks.
Greg attended Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo majoring in computer science and IT. He made a close group of friends there that he still stayed in contact with to the present time.
Greg loved watching sports from football to Fl , and everything in between, even curling. He was an avid San Francisco 49er fan and always watched every game with his dad. His new love however was truly Fl as he enjoyed all the minute details entailed to achieving a winning season. He would often try to explain the science behind racing, but often lost his audience as his explanations were too technical. We listened anyway.
Greg was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 when he was eighteen. As this terrible disease progressed Gregory struggled more and more, and he needed to leave Cal Poly in his senior year. He fought this disease for over twenty years through alt the constant ups and downs and stressors, but in the end lost the ultimate battle. He always tried to help and educate others about this disease and this in his own mind made him feel useful in some smalt way.
Gregory is survived by his parents Michael and Judith Goldman. Their hearts are truly broken and will miss him forever. Thank you Gregory for always making us laugh, sharing your struggles and strengths with us, and constantly educating us about Fl , expensive cars, and many electronic gadgets.
A very special thank you to Dr. Eric Jacobson who remained Greg's confidante and friend long after he retired as his psychiatrist. This meant the world to Gregory, someone he could always count on besides his parents.
Rest easy now Gregory as your battles are finally behind you. Thank you for always being you and filling our lives with love and laughter.
