Serafina (Fera) Kathryn Frye, beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), sister, aunt and friend, passed away on April 15, 2026, after a long-term illness. She passed away in her home surrounded by family.

Fera was born July 11, 1943 to Salvatore Joseph Lucido and Kathryn (Dolly) Aiello of Seaside, CA. Her father was a commercial fisherman who fished in and around Monterey Bay. Her mother worked in the Monterey canneries and was a stay at home mom and an excellent seamstress. Fera was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Graziano, her brother Anthony Salvatore Lucido and her parents Sal and Dolly Lucido. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold (Hal) W. Frye, her son Harold (Hari) W. Frye, Jr., her sister Vivian Morgan, her granddaughters Brianna Graziano, Arianna Graziano, their father Vince Graziano, Mackenzie Frye and Mackenzie's mother Celeste Frye. She will be missed by her nephews Jason Morgan, Sean Morgan (Janna), Sal Lucido (Julie), Vince Lucido (Diane) and Joey Lucido (C.J). She will also be missed by countless other relatives and friends.

Fera graduated from Monterey High School and then worked for Bank of America. After having her children, Kimmi and Hari, she went to work for Foothill Elementary School as a teacher's aide for 25 years. She was devoted to teaching and cherished her time with the children. Fera was a skilled seamstress like her mom and made clothes for herself and for her family. She enjoyed working in her yard and on projects in her home including repairs and painting. She was talented, gifted and creative. Fera adored her granddaughters. She spent a great deal of time with them as they were growing up and loved visiting, doing crafts and baking with them. Fera was very strong, caring and endlessly devoted to her family. Hal and Fera worked together to create a beautiful family and life together. She enjoyed every moment with Hal and was proud to call him hers forever. Thank you to the Hospice nurses, Angie and Markeicha, the Visiting Angels and the Meals on Wheels drivers. Fera will forever be in our hearts.
