Dawn Maria Dilella

Dawn Maria DiLella, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 75. 

Dawn was predeceased by her husband, Thomas V. DiLella, and her brother, Mark J. Peruzzi.

She is survived by her children, Peter V. DiLella, Christopher T. DiLella, and Dawn J. DiLella; her grandson, Thomas V. DiLella II; and her siblings, Lori Kempton, Toni Jo Peruzzi, Minnetta Janssen, Dale Clark, Larry Clark, and Gina Gilley.

Dawn dedicated her life to helping others and worked for many years as a drug counselor, where she made a lasting impact on countless lives within her community. She will be remembered for her compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, N Brandywine Ave, Schenectady, NY 12306.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Capital District YMCA 465 New Karner Road, 2nd Floor, Albany, NY 12205 .
