Robert F. Hasenfuss

Robert F. Hasenfuss, 93, of Hagaman, NY passed away June 1, 2026 at his home. He was born May 9, 1933 in Broadalbin, NY. He was the son of William and Ida (Buske) Hasenfuss.

For many years he worked at the Saratoga Harness track with his wife Shirley as groomers. Prior to the harness track he worked at Larrabee's in Amsterdam, and was also employed as a maintenance man for Woodrow Wilson Townhomes. In his free time, he enjoyed trips to the Saratoga Casino with his family.

Robert is survived by his daughter-in-law Patricia; two granddaughters Amy and Renee; four great-grandsons Brayden, Orion, Ashton, and Addison; a sister Carol; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley; daughter Debbie; son Bob "Huss"; and several brothers, sisters, and his parents.

The family has chosen to remember Robert's life privately at this time, and a graveside service will be announced at a later date.
