Canajoharie – C. Bradford “Brad” Flint, age 97, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026. Born in Cherry Valley, New York, on July 5, 1929, Brad was the son of the late Clinton R. Flint and Marion Pultz Flint.
A graduate of Springfield Central School, Class of 1947, Brad married the love of his life, Beulah M. Monk, on November 3, 1951. Together they shared 74 years of marriage filled with devotion, family, and faith.
Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Beulah M. Flint; his three children, Edward (Linda) Flint of Fairport, NY, Gerald (Lynne) Flint of Castleton, NY, and Cheryl (Dean) Scibilia of Apex, NC; six grandchildren, Chelsea Flint, Nicholas Flint, Michael (Jessica) Scibilia, Andrew (Sarah) Scibilia, Matthew Mahoney, and Brian (Sandra) Mahoney; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brad was predeceased by his sisters, Virginia Fox and Barbara Hoffman; and his brother, Donald Flint.
Brad was employed by Beech-Nut Nutrition for 42 years, serving as a clerk and chauffeur. He later worked for Ralston Purina for three years before retiring in June 1992.
Throughout his life, Brad was committed to his community and agricultural heritage. He was a member of the Beech-Nut 25 Year Club, a 25 year member of Bowman Creek Grange and later Glen Grange #658, and also held memberships in the Pomona, State, and National Grange. Brad was a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Agricultural Society, a member of the Holy Name Society, assisted with Boy Scout Troop #81, and served as an Election Inspector for the Canajoharie District.
Brad was a longtime communicant of the former St. Peter and St. Paul Church in Canajoharie and later Our Lady of Hope Church in Fort Plain.
Brad will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his work ethic, his service to his community, and his faith.
A public visitation will be held at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, New York 12072 on Tuesday July, 14, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a service to begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery, 296 Martin Rd, Fonda, NY 12068.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to St. Johnsville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Inc., or to The Community Hospice of Saratoga Springs, NY.
