Linda J. Coyne
Nov 22, 1965 — Jun 17, 2026
Linda J. Coyne, 60, of Fultonville, NY passed away June 17, 2026. She was born November 22, 1965 to Thomas and Betty (Armstrong) Bellinger. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Ken and two sons, Joshua and Ian.
Linda and Ken's life-changing love story began in the most delightfully ordinary way: at the Saint Peter’s Hospital salad bar. It was love at first sight. When Ken accidentally dipped his sleeve right into the mayonnaise, Linda didn't miss a beat, tossing out a sharp, "Smooth move!" In that exact moment, Ken knew he had met his match. The two were married on May 16, 1993, in a wonderfully simple and memorable bar ceremony in Saratoga.
A proud graduate of The College of Saint Rose, Linda studied business—skills she put to excellent use throughout her life. She spent a number of years working at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and Saint Peter’s Hospital before ultimately taking the reins of the family business, Bellinger’s Apple Orchard.
As the true face of the orchard, Linda was the engine that kept everything running. She was the mastermind behind the bustling school trips, the joyous birthday parties, and the fall hayrides. Above all, Linda kept everyone in line. If Ken was talking too much and the line for the cider donuts started backing up, she was always there to expertly check him with a quick, "Alright, Chatty Kathy."
When she wasn't managing the orchard, Linda loved to explore the world, first with Ken and eventually with her children. Her adventures took her across the globe to England, Ireland, Costa Rica, Bermuda, and her cherished trips to Cape Cod. But no matter how far she traveled, her favorite place to be was always surrounded by her family.
Linda was an outstanding wife and an extraordinary mother. She was her sons' biggest cheerleader, supporting them through every sporting event, educational milestone, and life endeavor, passing down her unmatched work ethic and devotion to family.
Linda’s sharp wit, vibrant spirit and presence will be deeply missed by her husband, Ken, her beloved sons, her extended orchard family, and the community she welcomed with open arms for so many years. She kept the lines moving, the family laughing, and the orchard blooming.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11 AM at the Glen Reformed Church 1526 NY-161, Glen with the Rev. Thomas Flander officiating.
Burial will immediately follow in Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville.
