Billie Lee Stewart

Billie Lee Garber Stewart, of Gloversville, born November 20, 1937 passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2026 at the age of 88.

Billie's life was a rich tapestry woven with love for her family and an enjoyment of her interests. She was an avid card player and found joy in creating beautiful pieces through plastic canvas crafting. Her greatest delight came from supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in their various sporting events, concerts, recitals, and any other activities they pursued. Her presence was a cherished constant, offering encouragement and applause.

Billie was a member of the Gloversville and Johnstown Senior Centers and the Foothills Worship Center. Her faith and commitment to her family were the cornerstones of her life.

Billie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph Sr. (Pete), son James, parents Naomi Garber Fidoe and William Garber, four sisters and one brother.

Her legacy continues through her surviving family: daughters Terri and Patricia; sons Ralph Jr. (Re-Pete), Thom, and Scott (Renee); and sister Jayne. She also leaves behind a large extended family of 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Billie's life will be honored with a private graveside service for her family. A Celebration of Billie's life will be held at noon on September 27, 2026 at the Concordia Club 138 Concordia Club Rd., Gloversville where those who knew and loved her can gather to share memories and honor her life.
