Catherine A. Willett

Catherine A. Willet, 67, of Gloversville, passed away June 28, 2026 at Albany Medical Center. She was born December 9, 1958 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Rennhack Scheidt.

Catherine was a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School. She was employed by the Cross Country Savings bank in Middle Village, Queens NY for a number of years before retiring in 1987.

She was a member of the Trinity St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Maspeth, Queens, NY. In her spare time, Catherine enjoyed working on crafts and needlework.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Willett and her daughter, Ashley Willett.

Per Catherine’s request there will be no funeral service or calling hours.

Memorial contributions in Catherine’s name may be made in lieu of flowers to the Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Avenue Schenectady, NY 12302.
