Kay S. Warner

Kay S. "Casey" Warner, 87, of Mayfield, NY passed away October 12, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 25, 1939 in Barre, Vermont the daughter of Walter and Helen Covey.

Casey worked in the medical field for many years, retiring from her position as an Accredited Record Technician for Nathan Littauer Hospital.

In her free time she loved crafts, shopping, reading and travel. She traveled many places in her lifetime, but held a special place in her heart for Ireland as well as Vermont, where she would return every summer.

A proud member of Mayfield Presbyterian Church, she served as an Elder for many years.

Above all, Casey loved her family. She would sparkle when any of her grandchildren would call her "Grandma".

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Johnson (Robert Weston); siblings Donald Covey, David Covey (Michele), Linda Stuart and Winifred Sweet; Roger's children Robert (Sherry), Frank (Kathleen), Mark (Stacey) and Kurt. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Roger Warner whom she married on April 11, 1987. She was also predeceased by her daughter Cynthia, sister-in-law Jacque and brothers-in-law Paul Stuart and Jared Sweet.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mayfield Presbyterian Church or to Colon Cancer research.
