Paul W. Empey

Paul W. Empey, 77, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026. He was born March 16, 1949 in Gloversville, the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Empey.

Paul worked as a Hair Designer, participating in many hair shows.

Paul was an avid fisherman and loved spending his time in the ocean on his kayak. He enjoyed watching football and spending time with his dalmatian, Polka. Most of all, Paul loved his mother, Elizabeth.

Paul is survived by his siblings, Judith (the late Ray Brundige) Empey and Gary Empey; nieces, Dana (Matt) LaCerais and Toni (Randy) Kwiatkowski; nephew, Derek (Jacqueline) Empey; and many great nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Paul's name to the American Cancer Foundation.
