Dustin Bradley Duff

Dustin Duff passed away surrounded by love on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Pathways Care Center in Fort Collins, Colorado.

He was born on April 26, 1984, to Steven Duff and Yvonne Younger. Dustin grew up in Thornton, Colorado, where he explored the town and played sports with his best friend, Jason. He attended all years of his schooling in Thornton and graduated from Thornton High School in 2002, where he met his wife, Jenna. Dustin completed his college career at Metropolitan State University in 2006 with a degree in Criminology. Dustin and Jenna were married on July 7, 2007, and remained loyal and devoted to each other until he left this world.

Dustin’s strength and resilience throughout his life left a mark. He wanted the best for everyone he loved and became a rock for those who were closest to him. His passion for life allowed him to become an expert in many areas. He was always motivated to be the best version of himself. He was known for always being right—and he never hesitated to remind his friends and family of that fact.

Dustin began his adult life working as a Wildland Firefighter stationed in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. He then moved on to police work and became a Denver Police Officer, where he devoted 10 years to helping others and building genuine lifelong friendships. Upon retiring as a police officer, he became a Realtor, which allowed Dustin to devote more time to his true calling: coaching football.

Dustin loved football and was a die-hard CU Buffaloes fan. He played in youth football leagues and continued through college until an injury ended his career. Shortly after, he began coaching high school football and found his true passion. Dustin coached at many schools in Northern Colorado and changed the lives of countless young men. He considered his players and fellow coaches family and lovingly referred to them as his boys.

Dustin was also a fisherman and hunter. He cherished the memories he made in the great outdoors with his friends and family, and he often shared stories of his adventures. Later in life, Dustin became an avid runner. He challenged himself to run to the stop sign down the street one day, and running instantly became another passion. In no time, he ran his first marathon in 2020 and then went on to run a 50-mile race.

Dustin is survived by his wife Jenna Duff, his grandmother Ruth Bentley, his parents Steven Duff and Yvonne Younger, his sister Chelsea Thomas, his brother Dillon Duff, and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Dustin will be remembered for his determination, loyalty, and devotion.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Pathways Hospice in memory of Dustin Duff.
