Marjorie Louise Walker passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 90.
Born on January 23, 1936, in Long Beach, California, Marjorie was the daughter of Fred and Althea Edwards. She graduated from Bakersfield High School before earning her degree from Fresno State University.
Marjorie began her career as a teacher and later worked for FMC in San Jose, where she remained until her retirement. Following retirement, she continued living in San Jose before moving to Sun City Lincoln in 2000 to be closer to her son Greg and his family.
She enjoyed traveling, researching her family’s genealogy, reading, and working crossword puzzles. She valued education, enjoyed lifelong learning, and found satisfaction in travel, books, and discovering her family’s history.
Marjorie is survived by her brothers, Don Edwards of Bakersfield, California, and Bobby Edwards of Washington; her sons, Greg, Doug, and Randy; her grandchildren, Scotty, Hayley, Keith, Clint, Lindsey, Jake, Blaze, and Kyla; and her great-grandchildren, Harper, Sol, Whit, and Walker.
Marjorie lived a life that spanned ten decades, experiencing remarkable changes in the world while pursuing her interests and following her own path. Her memory will remain with her family and all who knew her
