Apr 23, 1958 — Sep 30, 2026

Anne C. Graham-Bergin

Anne C. Graham-Bergin, 68, was born in Taipei, Taiwan, the daughter of Sgt. Raymond A. Graham and Chung Chen. Anne, along with siblings David, Allen and Dawn, grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. Anne received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in New York in 1982 and her law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 1986.

While living in D.C., Anne met her future husband Tom Bergin. Tom and Anne moved to Tucson in 1986 and lived for many years in the West University Historic District, where they were actively involved in the neighborhood association.

As an attorney, Anne developed a broad range of legal expertise working for local law firms: real estate, construction, securities, estate planning and probate law eventually landing as Associate Counsel for Mister Car Wash where she was responsible for the legal work necessary to close over 300 acquisitions and developments.

Anne was actively involved in the Arizona Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) and was recognized with the prestigious Alice Truman Leadership Award in 2021. She provided pro bono work to the Volunteer Lawyers Program and other non-profits organizations. She served on the Board of Directors of the Arizona League of Conservation Voters and was actively involved with the Arizona Women's Political Caucus.

Anne was a skilled quilter, sewer and knitter, a much-envied baker of pies, and most especially a competitive and popular tennis player. After retiring from MCW in 2023, Anne pursued her passion for international travel, enjoying extensive and detailed itineraries with Tom and friends. Her last journey, a two-week Norwegian cruise to Svalbard, finished only at the end of August.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Tucson Racquet Club, 4001 N Country Club Rd, Tucson, AZ. Anne will be honored by the presentation of a memorial tennis-courtside bench. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to this memorial or the Tucson Community Tennis Program.
