Ching-Yao Chiu

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Richard “Ching Yao” Chiu, who passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Richard was deeply loved by our family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We were truly blessed to have him living here in Tucson for the past three years, where he was surrounded by the care, comfort, and love of his family. We will always remember him for the life he lived, the love he shared, and the many memories he leaves behind. His presence brought warmth and strength to those around him, and he will be dearly missed.  Richard is survived by his beloved wife, May, his son, Tony, his daughter, Eling, his son-in-law, Calvin, his daughter-in-law, Stacey, his five grandchildren, and his two great-grandchildren.On behalf of our family, we want to thank everyone for the love, prayers, and support we have received during this difficult time.
