Glenn Milton Pfleiderer

Glenn Milton Pfleiderer of Marana, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2026 at the age of 81.
He was born on March 9th, 1945 to Paul and Ila Rose Pfleiderer in Shelby, Ohio. Growing up, he worked on the family farm, hunted squirrels, ate pure maple syrup, played basketball, and helped keep the turkeys alive.

After completing his education at University of Tulsa , he embarked on a career in Oil Exploration as a Geophysicist and Surveyor. He established Quality Assurance Exploration, then added computer technician and computer aided drafting to his skillset after the oil crisis in the 1980’s.

He married Georgia Ann Harrison on September 6th, 1969, and together they shared 52 years of determined entrepreneurship, intrepid self-development, and realized successes.

Away from work, he enjoyed playing tennis and soccer, sending lead downrange, roller-blading, riding his bicycle, fishing, and dog grooming. He was known for his story-telling, willingness to take on challenges, and dogged and grim perseverance.

He is survived by his children [Shannon Pfleiderer and Brandi Mendonca]; grandchildren, [John Pfleiderer, Hannah Pfleiderer, Logan Mendonca, and MacKenzie Mendonca]; and his sister [Arlene Main]. He was preceded in death by his wife [Georgia Pfleiderer].

His memorial will be at Bring’s Broadway Chapel (6910 E. Broadway) on Monday, September 28th, at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite dog shelter or rescue, particularly boxers or schnauzers, in his memory.
