Norbert Woolsey

Mr. Norbert Woolsey, husband of Brigitte Woolsey, son of Roger and Ruth Woolsey, died July 29, 2026 at Peppi’s House in Tucson. He was 91.

Born in Denver, Colorado, Mr. Woolsey graduated from Denver University before serving in the U.S. Army. While stationed in Germany, Norb met and married Brigitte. The couple’s first child Monika was born while they still resided in Germany. The new family of three moved to Phoenix in 1961, where their son Mike was born.

Mr. Woolsey was employed by State Farm for 32 years. After retiring in Tucson, he continued to enjoy travelling and studying family history with his wife. He also enjoyed restoring antique clocks.

He is survived by Brigitte, Mike, Alma, Matthew, Michael and Julia.

A memorial service will be held at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, new Wolf Exhibit.
