Patricia (Miller) Peterson

Patricia (Miller) Peterson died on August 3, 2026, in Tucson, AZ. Pat was born November 30, 1935, in Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Jesse Miller and Orma (Manby) Miller. Her family moved to St. Peter, MN when she was in fifth grade and where she completed her schooling. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and taught in Le Sueur, MN for a couple of years and then moved to Babbitt, MN with her family. Pat met her late husband Rohl Peterson in Virginia, MN, and they were married in Babbitt MN on February 10, 1962. Pat and Rohl lived in Britt, MN during their working years. 

Pat was the librarian in the Cook, MN school district until retirement. She loved her books. In retirement Pat and Rohl spent their summers on Lake Vermillion in Cook, MN and winters in Tucson, AZ at the Voyager RV Resort. They also traveled to several places in the world. Pat taught genealogy classes on the Iron Range in Minnesota and at the Voyager RV Resort in Tucson. She traveled to Salt Lake City several times with friends for genealogy research. She and Rohl provided their family members with valuable ancestry information. 

A special thank you to Hannah Roberts for her years of caregiving. Pat is preceded in death by her husband Rohl Peterson, parents Thomas Jesse and Orma Miller, and her brother Tom Miller. 

There will be no funeral service.
