AGNES JEANNE (FILOSENA) GREGORY Graveside services for Agnes Gregory will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at Glen Oaks Memorial Park Chico, CA. Agnes 87, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Agnes was born on October 24, 1926 in Volcano, CA to Peter and Elfleda Filosena. Agnes moved to the Chico area at age 13, she later graduated from Durham High School in 1944 and went on to nursing school. She met and married Robert Gregory on August 4, 1945. Agnes worked for 35 years at Enloe Hospital. Agnes was a devoted Catholic attending both St. John's and Our Divine Savior Catholic Church's. She always saw the good in people and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband Robert. She is survived by eight children Patty ( Pat ) Higginbotham of Orland, CA.; Ronnie of Chico; Carol ( Mark ) Bordeau of Snohomish, WA.; Cheryl Mingo of Chico; Shirley ( Randy ) Dillenbeck of Bothell, WA.; Joanne ( Ray ) Norby of Bothell, WA .; Judy ( Randy ) Neely of Durham,CA., and Paul of Forest Ranch, CA. along with 19 grandchildren and 12- great grandchildren.
