Beverly Smith

BEVERLY ANN SMITH Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Beverly Ann Anderson Smith, returned to her heavenly home on June 9, 2013 following a brave struggle with the effects of Alzheimer's Disease. Beverly was born in 1930 in Pingree, ID, a daughter of Helen Maude Caldwell and Marvin Earl Anderson. She married Paul Dean Smith in 1952. She raised her children over various parts of the world, Hawaii being her favorite, while supporting her husband in his military career. Known for her laughter and beautiful smile, Beverly brought joy and happiness to all those who knew her. She devoted her love, time, energy and talents to her husband and children. Beverly loved to go shopping with friends, beautify homes with her decorating skills and travel with Paul, loving husband of 61 years. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beverly and Paul moved to Chico, CA in 2007 to be closer to their daughter. She is survived by her husband Paul, children, Scott (Wendy) Smith, DeAnne (John) Long, Todd (Leslie) Smith, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law. Friends may call 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at 626 Broadway St, Chico, CA 95928. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15 with visitation one hour prior to services at the Chico 5th Ward, 735 W. East Avenue Chico, CA 95926. Interment, Glen Oaks Memorial Park.
