Billy Everett

Billy Eugene Everett, Sr. was born June 4, 1925 in Blocker, Oklahoma. He passed away on January 2, 2010 in Chico, California at the age of 84. He moved to Chico with his family in 1957. Bill was a US Navy veteran of WWII and a retired insurance company agent. He served three terms as Exalted Ruler of the Chico Lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy E. Everett, Jr., who died in 1961. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary A. (Finley) Everett; a son, Stanley E. Everett and his wife, Virginia (Lotzman); a daughter, Anita D. (Everett) Lewis and her husband, Steven; a son, Dennis L. Everett; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Beloved of family and many, many friends, Bill was a most kind and thoughtful person, who will be remembered always for his unselfish love for everyone. Funeral arrangements were handled by Brusie Funeral Home; however, as Bill had requested, no services were held.
