Bradley Johnson

A memorial service for Brad Johnson, of Chico, will be held Tuesday June 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. He passed away in his home May 29, 2008. He was born May 7, 1956 in Chico, CA. to Arthur Johnson and Belva Hunerlach. He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School, and joined the Air Force. He started painting houses at 16, and later became a paint contractor, Johnson's Painting. He met Vicki Keene in 1988, and married in 1989. When he was not working, Brad loved fishing, hunting, his animals, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a huge motorcycle enthusiast, riding, racing and working on them. He had a love for music, writing songs, playing guitar, and singing. He is survived by his wife, Vicki of 19 years; his sisters, Deanna Kennett and Alisa Bates, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held after the service in Butte Meadows. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Butte Humane Society
