Clorine Thomas

CLORINE THOMAS Oct. 17, 1923 - Oct. 26, 2013 Clorine was born In Troy, Montana on October 17, 1923 and grew up in Anderson, California. She met Joseph Thomas and they married In 1942. Clorine and Joe had three children and owned a farm for 20 years in Glenn County. When Joe died In 1962, Clorine became a Legal secretary and later went to work at Chico State University as an administrative assistant until her retirement. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards, gardening and her family and friends. Clorine moved to Fresno and then to Bakersfield where she passed away. Clorine is survived by her son John Thomas and wife Sharen, And daughter Patrica Seibel and Husband Rory, Four grandchildren, Joe Larsen and wife Stacey, Sandra Varley and husband Scott, Julia Thomas-Calvert and husband Eric, and John Michael Thomas and wife Susan, and four great grand daughters. She is also survived by her Sister-in-law, Eleanor Hall. Clorine was preceded in death by her husband Joe and son Gene (Steve) Thomas. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice. A graveside service will be held in Chico California at Glen Oaks Cemetery, Monday November 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM
