Curt Griffiths

A Celebration of the Life of Curt Griffiths, 48 of Chico, will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brusie Funeral Home. Curt passed away on September 3, 2011 in Chico. He was born on September 17, 1962 in Santa Cruz, CA to Ray and Lani Griffiths. Curt received a B.S. Degree in Chemistry from C.S.U.C. Chico. He was a project manager for Environmental Clean up companies. Curt was a protector of animals and volunteered at the Humane Society. He loved to participate in basketball, deep sea fishing, golf, football, baseball and bowling. Curt had the ability to bring fun and laughter to any situation and was a friend to everyone. He was a caring father and uncle. He is survived by his son, Zack Griffiths and nephew, David de la Luz, both of Chico; parents, Ray and Lani Griffiths of Felton, CA; sister, Alyson Griffiths of Oroville, CA and sister, Shannon Wilson and her husband, Doug, and their children, Sarah, Lindsay, and Jacob of Aptos, CA. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Butte Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home.
