Daniel Robert Button

Surrounded by his loving family, Dan Button, 77, of Chico California, passed away Wednesday August 8, 2018. Dan was born in Sacramento, April 1, 1941, son of the late Charles and Lucille (Entler) Button. He graduated from Chico Senior High School. He was a Hotshot crew member for the Forest Service before working for the Chico Unified School district for 20+ years. On December 2, 1967 he was united in marriage to Melva Scott who preceded him in death August 8, 2008. An outdoorsman, Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in Eureka with his family. He will dearly be missed by his son Larry Button, Daughter-in-Law Katie Button, and grand-daughter Sofia Button as well as extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday August 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.brusiefh.com
