Douglas Heryford

Douglas P. Heryford, 67, of Chico, Ca passed away October 23, 2017. He grew up in the Sacramento area, later settling in Chico, Ca. Douglas is survived by his wife Carol of 37 years and three children Brian, Tommy and Kristina, along with four loving grandchildren. Douglas was a hardworking man with a career in the lumber industry, having expertise in every aspect of it. He most recently worked as the Sales Manager at Trinity River Lumber Co. in Weaverville, Ca. Douglas had a great passion for golf, fishing, photography and woodworking. He also enjoyed coaching sports for all of his children. He himself played baseball and collegiate football. Douglas was loved by many and will be dearly missed. His family and friends will carry on his memory and cherish the time spent together. A Mass service will be held at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.
