Glen Bonn
d. Jan 1, 2001
Glen Allen Bonn was born December 24, 1946 and passed away August 24, 2009 in Chico of natural causes. He was the son of James Lyon Bonn and Louise Schneider Bonn.
He was born in Montebello, California and moved to Chico with his family in 1958. He attended Chico High School and graduated in 1964. He served in the US Army and received an honorable discharge. Upon his return he graduated from Chico State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Sociology. He then attended Lincoln University and graduated in 1978 with a Juris Doctorate in Law. With that he opened his own business in 1980 called The Legal Source. He successfully ran the business until 2004 when ill health forced its closure.
Glen's zest for life was demonstrated in his love of music, baseball, classic cars, bowling and spending time with his many close and valued friends and family.
Glen is survived by his significant other, Tamora Parr; brothers, Bill Bonnesar of Chico and Rick Bonn of Fallon, NV.; cousin, Marilyn Vogt of Paradise and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
A private family memorial was held in Paradise August 29, 2009.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or your favorite charity. Bruise Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Windsor Creek Care and Rehab for the loving care and patience they gave to Glen during his stay there.
