Harold James Slightom

Harold James Slightom Jim Slightom was born in Fairbury, Nebraska on May 14, 1946. Living most of his life in Chico, CA Jim enjoyed camping, fishing, taking drives and horses. He loved his dogs Sam and Cosi, and strawberry milkshakes. He passed way September 23, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 70. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Jewel Fay Slightom (Clinton); father, Samuel Jefferson Slightom, Sr.; mother, Nina Stella Slightom (Maxwell); brother, Marion Virgil Slightom; and grandson, James Thomas Parier. Jim is survived by two daughters; Mary Jane Mathis and Starla Glassel: four step children; Shelly Slightom, Tracy Hodges, Terry Hodges and Jan Hodges: two sisters; Fay Sprague and Betty Louise Branham: two brothers; Samuel Jefferson, Jr. and Robert Smith: as well as 23 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
